Hello!
I just started a society6 page and could use your help! Tell your friends, buy a thing maybe...?

If you're unfamiliar, society6 is a print-on-demand style service for artists that gives them an opportunity to put their work on multiple products.
I'm hoping that this works out to any degree, as work has been thinning out and I could use a new means of making ends meet when clients run out of work for me. Any amoutn of help you can give - just telling people, etc. would be incredibly wonderful. If you end up buying something, even better

Hey folks!
I'm starting a new tumblr! This is about condensing a concept/project into one place (and only one place), so this won't have an effect on my output to dA, fb, my personal tumblr, etc.
My first entry kinda describes this better, but the concept is to do a sketch-a-day based on a Capcom encyclopedia I got from my friends this Christmas. Hopefully this leads to me being more drawing-oriented in general, even when I have projects I can't show, or jobs that are more graphic design oriented. Any good excuse to build a good habit, I say...
This won't change my plans for dA though! I'm still amped at putting updates here and everywhere else my mug is on the internet! Hope you stick around for the ride!

Hey folks!
I've been up to work - mostly graphic design things and trying to make money stretch.
I've also been learning up on some other digital art techniques. I know I have a lot of love for vector, but I'm using CTRL Paint (www.ctrlpaint.com) to learn a lot more about digital painting.
Outside of that, I've been doing a lot that doesn't really feel 'done' - so I have been bad at updating dA. I use tumblr (herogear.tumblr.com) and instagram (instagram.com/scribblesessions…) a lot to post WIP stuff, but felt that might be too cluttered for this page. Dunno - thoughts?
Anyway, I'm still here, still love you folks, still working, and hoping to share more these coming weeks!

Loud and Proud (aka My First iOS Game)

So I just found out I can finally talk about the project I've been working on! It's an iOS game! I helped with building artwork and miscellaneous items. You can find the game here:

It's called "Eat Eat Hooray" and is super adorable. Not too sure how it plays yet, because I don't have an iOS device (yet).

A (Not So) Quiet Hiatus

Hey folks!
Sorry I haven't had much time to update around these parts. After finishing commissions for 2012, I dove deep into a gig for a client working on a thing...I can't really talk about yet :/
BUT!
It's pretty exciting and I can't wait to share it with you guys! Just have to wait a little while longer...
In other news, I submitted to Udon's World of Warcraft Tribute book. Unfortunately, according to the rules, I won't be able to show that either...but...BUT...if it does get into the book, I'll let you all know!
So I bet you're asking "well, Mr. HeroGear, can you share ANYTHING new with us?" The answer would be yes...soon! I've been looking for personal projects that not only can I share, but be able to sell in order to grow the art-making side of my life.
All in all, it's been a busy few months, although unfortunate that so much of it can't be shared (yet). Hope to make up for this soon!
