This was done just today, from original sketch to finish vector, took about...like an hour, give or take. A spot illustration that will go with other spot illustrations for a "Bookstore Services" poster.

It's also one of the more rare jobs where I was speficially asked to do illustrations while someone else did the general design and layout. Typically I draw or have drawing elements in an ad when I can get away with it - meaning I have the time, or a manager doesn't care how I execute their promo.
